BLISSFILED, MI - “Behind the Mitten” is excited to announce it has added a new affiliate, streaming station 517Rocks in Blissfield. That brings BTM’s statewide network to 22 radio stations across 15 markets. It started airing on May 18.

This is great news for “Behind the Mitten,” which is now available to Southern Michigan for the first time, as well as to listeners who stream the station from all over the world.

Behind the Mitten will air at 9 a.m. Sundays. It can be streamed at 517rocks.com.

“Since re-launching the station, I have been searching for a program that we could air on Sunday mornings that would be both educational and entertaining,” said Jerry Hayes, 517Rocks owner and program director.

“‘Behind the Mitten’ is the type of program that will teach you a lot about our great state while you ease into your Sunday sipping on a cup of coffee. I'm excited that 517Rocks is teaming up with Gonzo and Amy and I'm sure our listeners are going to love the program."

Amy and Gonzo said: “We’re more than thrilled for the opportunity! We love that part of the state, having traveled from Monroe to Adrian to Tecumseh for many of our Michigan’s Best searches. We can’t wait to revisit and share more Michigan stories.”

In addition to Behind the Mitten, 517Rock also added several new shows to its weekend line-up, including:

517Rocks is Southern Michigan’s Classic Rock!
